Developed for handling very cold objects, typically those stored in the vapour phase of liquid nitrogen (in the range -120°C to -190°C)

Gloves should not actually be immersed in liquid nitrogen

The outer layer is waterproof material to resist condensed water on cold surfaces

Permeable to gases (including water vapour) for enhanced user comfort so that there is no clammy condensation inside

Stitch holes unsealed to reduce bulk around the fingers

Very durable, and retain flexibility (albeit with some stiffening) for long periods in cold atmospheres

Polyimide outer material, polyolefin with some polyester as filling and cotton liner
